We are looking for an associate attorney to join our growing practice group. The successful candidate will have 1-5 years of corporate and business legal experience and a proven record of high academic achievement and will be licensed with the California Bar.
A strong candidate will understand client service and our commitment to meeting expectations and deadlines with high-quality work product. A strong candidate will also have the ability to thoughtfully weigh the pros and cons before making decisions. We are looking for a logical-thinking, project-oriented attorney to assist in transactions from beginning to end. Excellent interpersonal, writing and analytical skills are required. The attorney can expect to work with and alongside partners, associates and paralegals in a team environment.
The candidate should be capable of drafting and reviewing entity formation documents, corporate resolutions, basic contract terms and letters with minimal supervision. With guidance and feedback (particularly on unique aspects of a transaction) the candidate should be capable of reviewing and drafting purchase and sale agreements, LLC operating agreements and similar documents. Tax or accounting knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP is looking for a qualified secretarial candidate with five+ years of solid litigation experience. Specifically, construction litigation experience is preferred but some transactional or contract experience as well would be helpful. In particular, experience with AIA contracts is a plus.
The successful candidate must be able to manage a busy desk in a fast-paced, professional environment and enjoy working as part of a team as well as be able to work independently. A commitment to excellent client service is invaluable.
Top-notch computer skills and aptitude are additionally required. Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and iManage are a plus. In addition, the successful candidate must also be able and willing to learn other software systems that support a document-intensive practice.
