Litigation Associate
The Construction Law Team at Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP, located in Sacramento and one of the premier construction litigation practices in California, works on significant and complex construction matters throughout California. We are looking for an associate attorney to join our team with civil litigation experience and a proven record of high academic achievement. Construction law experience is essential. He or she will also have a strong understanding of client customer service, a commitment to meeting client expectations and deadlines with high-quality work product, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding writing and analytical skills are required for this position. The candidate must also have substantial experience drafting pleadings, drafting and responding to discovery, legal research, and motion practice.

Real Estate/Business Paralegal
Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP is looking for a full-time paralegal with 3+ years’ transactional real estate and/or business experience to work with our Real Estate and Business teams.
High attention to detail and strong writing skills are required. Experience with drafting basic contracts, real estate closing procedures, secretary of state filings, and corporate formations preferred. Experience with title and survey review is a plus. The successful candidate will be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, professional environment, enjoy working as part of a team and demonstrate a commitment to client service and professional growth.
Advanced computer skills and aptitude are required. Advanced skills in Word and internet research are required, with proficiency in Excel and Forte a plus. The successful candidate must also be able and willing to learn other software systems as needed.

Experienced Legal Document Specialist/Word Processor
Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP is looking for a full-time Legal Document Specialist with exceptional word processing, proofing and computer skills. Murphy Austin is looking for an experienced candidate who can provide word processing support to the firm, provide troubleshooting support for both document and software problems and provide computer training and overflow coverage when needed.
Advanced computer skills and aptitude are required. Advanced skills in Word (including use of styles, paragraph numbering, creating table of authorities and table of contents and redlining), Adobe Acrobat, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and a document management program are required, with proficiency in legal template programs a real plus. The successful candidate must also be able and willing to learn other software systems as needed and should have law firm experience.
The perfect candidate will also train new employees on firm software and assist with IT Help Desk problems related to a variety of software programs.

Office Services Coordinator
Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP is looking for an Office Services Coordinator. The qualified candidate will have basic knowledge of office equipment – copy machines, scanners, printers and phones, and Microsoft software.
Responsibilities include opening and scanning mail; copy and scanning projects; setting and cleaning up conference rooms; document pick up and deliveries; kitchen maintenance and cleaning; stocking supply rooms; and serve as backup for the receptionist. Must have California Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
